Who can submit work?
Detroit area artists.

Submissions:

·           Submit 5 to 10 images as jpgs. Email them to info@detartreg.com
·           Jpgs should be of highest quality, and at least 500 x 500 pixels large.
·           Please make sure images are oriented correctly (rightside up).
·           Each image should be named to correspond to the entry form and title
·           Every work submitted must be available for sale through the Detroit Artist Registry.
·           If you would prefer to mail a CD, please include your name and email address on the CD.

Artist Resume:
Please send one page resume including education, solo and group exhibitions, and relevant art related work, committee involvement or philanthropic work.

Artist Statement/ Biography:
Tell us about you and why you make what you make. The feature on the web site is about you as an artist, so introduce yourself. Be creative and let us into your creative process. Include background, influences, personal history, inspiration or experience relevant to your artwork. One page, 350 words or less please.

Artist representation on Detroit Artist Registry will include:
-High quality images of your work with title, media, size and price displayed.
-Your headshot, artist statement and resume.
-The Detroit Artist Registry will capture the way you work, your lifestyle and who you are, in order to introduce you to the art world at large.

Sales and commission:
All work submitted to Detroit Artist Registry must be available for sale. The artist will name their own sale price. The artist MUST inform us of work that has sold or becomes unavailable. Otherwise, you are jeopardizing the future promotion of your work by us. Our goal is to sell, as well as represent, your work. We will take a 30% commission on each work sold.

Membership:
